Here is another poll that was originally set in December 2004. The numbers after the questions are the results for that poll back in December.

Now that half the year has passed, and we know what Kaio has done already, and maybe have a better idea of how his year will finish, are we going to change our original ideas?

I do hope the man has the sense to retire now while we still have fond memories of the man. I really like him, and I don't want him to end up like Musoyama (Bye, bye...)

The way he moved during this last Natsu, until his injury, I'd say he's still one of the main attractions of any day during a basho. I think he should stay, as long as his body can keep it up. He might not be able to win, and will almost certainly never become a Yokozuna, but I think sumo still needs him very badly now. A few uwatenages, Kaio style, are really nice to see, every now and then.

I also think that he is one of the very few who keeps us on our toes when he fights Asashoryu.
