Mukade Beya (Formerly STI) Sumo Gaming Banter Thread

Thanks for the headsup Athenayama, I should ave thought of the Games Bugs thread on my own. So, what next? First Sumo Talk Discussion Board went by the boards, now Fantasy Sumo, which has still been regularly attracting around 165 - 175 players each basho. Maybe Sumotalk.com will go next. Sad Times."

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what's up (or maybe I should say down) with Fantasy Sumo? It went out before the end of Aki and apparently has never come back up.

Mukade Beya (Formerly STI) Sumo Gaming Banter Thread

Simon, I have posted the following on the Bench Sumo message board and on the DST forum as ewell. I haven't been able to locate a contact listing on Seki-Toto, TTT and Sumo Game so if you or any of the Mukade crew know s who is running any of those games could you please pass this on to them as well. Ironically, despite being retired for many years, I find myselfwith considerably less "extra" time on my hands. I must thus, regrettably, submit my retirement papers from the daily sumo games at this time. I will continue to follow Sumo and to participate in the pre Basho games as well as Chain Gang & I.S.P. since they only require one pick each day. I have hopes than in the Summer or Fall of '21 I may find myself with enough time available to resume playing the other dailies. I thank all of you running these wonderful games that have allowed me to interact with all of the wonderful Sumo fans from around the world. Respectfully submitted, Hal "Chisaiyama" Shaver As noted above I will not be able to keep up with dailies for an extended period of time, but would prefer nof fojust vaingloriously slip off the various banzukes, so any help would be appreciated. You guys have been fabulous and I will definitely check in here from time-to-time to see how you all are doing. Hal "Chisaiyama" Shaver

Simon, Sorry for the latenotice but this basho crept up on me and in any case, I have a lot on my plate in my personal life right now and just can't attent to the dailies like I should. o I have requested kyujo in all the dailies except IP and Chain Gang since they only require a few minutes to ponder over. I hope to be back in full swing in May as Japan celebrates the bginning of a new era. Hal "Chisaiyama" Shaver

TORCHBEARER 2019: invitation, rules, and your picks

Shimodahito-zeki Rikishi Pick: Roga Rank Pick: J6W Perhaps for next year (2020) you might consider as another year-end bonus points category having then entrants guess the Highest Position achieved with points for hitting it right on and lesser points for getting within 10 of the actual high. Just something for thought. I suggest this now as it would give yourself and the other players achance to discuss it and see what everyone thinks.

And because they are missing, so are the entry forms for the games on the sumogames.de server such as Bench, ISP etc. Looks like Nagoya is getting off to a rocky start with the Shonichi Sekitori matches only about 32 hours away.

Sorry, you are absolutely correct, I just, somehow, never noticed it before. Things were quite hectic that day in my household and when I went back and reviewed it I saw I had confused that days entry with the one previous. Sorry fot the confusion. Goem nasai!

The Turn The Tide results page is off. It is showng that it is the results from Day 7 but the results being displayed are for Day 6 instead as all the rikishi records add up to 6 not 7, and it is showing the picks I made on Day 6 not the ones for Day 7.

    Games Bugs

Not sure if this is a problem or is going to be but just a head up for everyone to keep an eye out as the basho progresses. When I was entering Roto Sumo today, I had entered all my choices and double checked that there was a tick in each section. I clicked SUBMIT and it popped me to the top of the page and displayed a message box saying that I had to select a rikishi in each group. Not only that but it cleared all of the selections I had made. Once again I made my selections and hit submit, once again it popped me up to the top of the page with the same message only this time it left my selections intact. I double checked and there was one in each group. I did notice that I had made Yago my selection in the last Juryo group (10-14) and I wondered if that could be the problem given the situation with him in Nagoya's Juryo Game, so I changed him to Osunaarashi and clicked submit and confirm and it took. I then clicked the Entry button again and changed it back to Yago and submitted and confirmed and that time it apparently took. Hopefully it was just a communications glitch between my pc and the server the first time since it did take the second, actually third, time around but I thought I would bring it up so if problems do arise with the daily scoring of Roto Sumo this could be a starting point for chasing the problem down.

I'm having this problem also, I have attached screen snips showing my picks from the confirmatiion email, mh details display from the Day 4 results and a clip showing Yago's (my JH pick) results through Day 4. So far he has won twice on Day1 and again on Day 4 so my score is currently 2 points less than it should be but of course if he should go 7-0 that would be a more significant effect.

    UDH Nagoya Basho 2017

I could not find a link for this purpose on you esteemed website Tamanaogijima san so I would like to submit my intai fro UDH as of this basho. I would like to offer my thanks for providing this interesting game which has provided me with many hours of mind bending cogitation over the years trying to pick the leastlikely to achieve victory. Perhaps someday after I have rested my little gray cells I may return.
