Asa's sumo - worthy of a Y?
Ikh Mongol Dagvadorj replied to Mark Buckton's topic in Ozumo Discussions
I think I have wrote I am trying to say about sumo tecnnique and wrestling When I watch again and again Asa vs Kotooshyu. Kotooshyu obviously had clear physical advantages over short Asa. Also watching Ama and Hakuho's sumo against Shyu confirms that Mongolians have physical disadvantage- body sizes. In order not to repeat that loses, Asashoryu should have a powerful taichi-ai to blow out kotooshyu mind away :) and so on.. -
Asa's sumo - worthy of a Y?
Ikh Mongol Dagvadorj replied to Mark Buckton's topic in Ozumo Discussions
I guess I am one of those stu.mongolians iF Asa go to University in Japan and grow up mentally/ politically, he is no less than local boys. Asa is certainly one of those patriotic souls I have ever seen. Why not go for President. Also this Kyokushuzan is born foxy, can be a politician. Not as patriotic as Asa, but we will see. Hakuho does not really look smart right now. Certainly he is growing, as we see he is trying show that he is no longer little brother to Asa. Instead of trying to stare down each other, they should more concentrate on tactics against those who are big, tall with looooong arms -
Hakuho (Sign of disapproval...) . Obviously, Asashoryu looks suprised and even smiled

I like this (Sign of approval...)

Ikh Mongol Dagvadorj replied to HenryK's topic in Ozumo Discussions
Kyokotenho is total Nihonjin in every way -

I think your word "stolen" is not in right place. Ama earned the victory by amazing "tongoroo". utchari ? I would use your word in following case. Kak's victory was stolen by Wakanoho on the day 5.

That question ( of introduction of new techniques or it was just revival of old techniques ) should be investigated throughly by sumo historian. But I don't think Mongolians can do any REVIVAL of old sumo technique in short period of time after entering sumo first time. I believe Kyokushuzan and many others survived Sumo by using Mongolian wrestling techniques in addition to traditional sumo training and technique. What was the nickname for Shuzan- Department store of trickS, right? I take it as Japanese recognition of his introduction new techniques to Sumo

NO man, "Ms" Uchidate is not "pushing him hard" like anybody who cares about sumo. Her comment made her look like blinded enough by her hatred of Asa. As blinded, she even does nots see that there are 2 active Yokozuna in Sumo. It is almost insult to Sumo itself. Maybe She has done an "awful lot for collegiate sumo". I think she should be hanging around in collegiate sumo, not around Asashoryu who has done lot more for sumo. As you all know well, thanks to Asashoryu ( to Mongolians in general) Sumo is no longer only for FATMEN which is image created by some. Stereotype of sumo "bigger is better" is broken by speedy techniques of some Mongolian wrestlers. Now even some Japanese wrestlers (like Goeido) are becaming like Asashoryu in its wrestling style. Introducing one little technique, one more speedy way of winning to Sumo is much better contribution than scolding "jaw" contribution of "Ms" Uchidate

Asashouryuu injured-keiko news
Ikh Mongol Dagvadorj replied to Kintamayama's topic in Ozumo Discussions
I heard when Asa was kid, he used to play basketball lot with some exception which he yells at everyone to give a way to him and pushes his way to to the hoop -
Remaining on topic, Ms. is the correct way to denote an unmarried independant woman, regardless of if she has a hi-man or a hymen. Thank you Now I see, so Ms Uchidate is unmarried girl who is waiting for her perfect match. Unfortunately Mr Asa is already married and have children who did not see their father because of likes of Ms Uchidate during the New Year. I think Ms Uchidate should be addressed as Dr. Uchidate or something like that, if she has some academic or job title. Everytime when I read ther name, that "Ms" confuses me, because I do imagine a "MISS" like Miss World, Miss America. Sumo wrestlers deserve real Miss Sumo than Ms. Uchidate

Recent posts are not diverged at all from the original topic. You know by now, Ms Uchidate is really representing Japanese Sumo. or Ms Uchidate using Sumo and Sumo scandals/ Asashoryu incident for her own personal gain to be in the center of attention. Looks like she enjoy it Ms Uchidate and Sumo or Asashoryu . Now , It is all almost same subject to bypassers. When someone sees this Soken video on youtube, anybody would wonder who is tis woman in center of the camera many times. Even Kitanoumi was unnoticeable in this video. If this woman stays on long enough in center of media attention, using her personal/ illogical problem with Asa, Sumo would have some real "public image" problem. btw:- Why Ms Uchidate? why not Mrs Uchidate. Is she still virgin or what (Blinking...) ?

The day when there will be no Japanese Ozeki
Ikh Mongol Dagvadorj replied to HenryK's topic in Ozumo Discussions
The day when there will be no Japanese Ozeki? I don't wanna see that day come. In worst case, in order to avoid such day, Sumo Authority should even ban non-Japanaese wrestlers completely in certain period of time. I guess such action is within power of Sumo Authority, isn't it?
