Just one flaw: Kotooshu isn't Caucasian, he's Bulgarian, and that's in Eastern Europe. :) Besides this, it's a really nice article there, great statistical observations.

So the heights/weights of the rikishi aren't published/officially announced after every measurement? Just curious.

Could somebody please explain what a "Yokozuna-Ozeki" means?

Though it seems like Asashoryu is running out of gas, I do believe that he has an extra tank somewhere out there... Voted for 3 Yusho, 4 12+ win Basho, and 6 to 10 more Yusho until retirement.

Hakuho/Asashoryu/Harumafuji for Yokozuna in January 2010. Baruto/Kotomitsuki/Kotooshu/Chiyotaikai/Kaio for Ozeki.

Unfortunately, I have no info on his post-Kyushu2008 health status, but according to his pre-Kyushu status, I'd say he'll hang on for at least another year. Edit: Voted for mediocre, won't retire, 5 KK.

Also, Tamanoshima can't possibly be ahead of Masatsukasa, IMO.

I really wonder how high Aran will get... until he hits the wall, that is. Any chance to tie Kotooshu and Konishiki's results, perhaps?
