I usually wait most of the masu people have left at the end of the day and then swoop down on their scraps and souvenir left behind programs. 10 years ago their were dozens each day, these days its much harder to find one.....sign of the times? less people buying them and saving 500yen?

Part two of the new Basho polls- the other one: "Rate the basho" When this poll happens on the Motorsport forum for driver of the race, often the guy who wins gets the most votes, but not always especially when Mark Webber wins as no one can bear to vote for such a journeyman.

I must say this no live coverage basho but with a 30 min sumo digest at 6:30pm is bloody brilliant! Perfect time to to watch a highlights show or record it and watch it later in the evening. The old digest was a 1:30 am or 4am. Ludicrous times. NHK - Please keep this new Digest time slot!
