Tochinoshin? what was that? that was worse than Baruto's flying leap a basho or two ago. That stumble gave 7-7 Hokutoriki made his eight.

thanks for providing this service over the years Stewart. The customized results was the feature I used heavily for sumo gaming. That feature is so simple to use and brilliant as Oshirokita noted above.

Asojima -you sure have found some sweet spots on the net for pics that I never found back in the day.....good to know they are there!

nope! most of my links are out of date now! never mind time to refresh them...... "Are you paying Attention Osh? this one is called sukuinage" Steven Seagal, though overweight these days, enjoyed a good laugh "The forest which beats koto Okazaki with throwing away, decides net win 麗 (inner part)" .....I love babelfish.....anyway Moriurara, ulala! makes news for his gaman-nizing...." I gamanized all these years to be rewarded with this beautiful KK" he was heard saying The face of a man who has sewn up the basho. Damn! my puffer fish impression isnt scaring him,,,,time for plan "B" Sukuinage! Hakuho doing his best Triskelion impression. Pro Wrestle? haku-Hogan dropped the flying knee, for the quick victory Photographic evidence of the the stoic one signing an autograph! wow he must be relaxed! And so goes the spark of interest that was remaining in the Kyushu basho. Rockies Cuban pitcher Jos

I get the distinct impression that Takamisakari didn't go to University for his academic prowess, Though as far as 'Jocks' go, he is a pretty strange 'jock'. My funny memory of him was on a variety TV show and the "tarento" asked him what I kind of women he liked - he blurted out "women with large breasts!" .....he wont be writing any self help books on social etiquette in the future. A reporter once asked him "why did you start sumo?" he said "because I could eat lots of food, I asked my teacher at school when I was a kid what job could I have where I can eat lots of food"......

IF you ask me and funnily enough many people do, I would also add (in addition to all that was said aobve by our wise sage's) that Harumafuji being an Ozeki should have never found himself in that position in the first place and didn't deserve to win in such embarrassing fashion, Baruto was absolutely in control of the bout once he hoisted and swiveled and it was very close (haruma landing and Bart playing toesy on the tawara) at normal speed, slow motion always makes it look more apparent. Had Baruto blatantly plonked his whole foot out and much earlier than he did (harumafuji still in inside the ring rather than dangling outside it) then it could have been isamiashi but as you can see in the graphic, the defender was standing, resisting at the edge, not being hoisted up in the air like a child as with Haruma/Bart. Harumafuji had lost that bout about a second before bouts conclusion.

indeed very much down. Everything on sumogames server is AWOL: Bench, ISP, toto, S4, maegashira game, the doitsubase.

yes I am happy, I whooped with Joy at the playoff result. Feel sorry for poor Bushuyama, fell victim to to Aran's crap and lost grasp of a sansho. Happy that the Rikishi who causes me the most grief in the games, will drop to Juryo.

Yusho! Hey Uchidate, how do you like them apples?

I am guessing that is the ridiculously archaic system of pounds? 300kg (660pounds) is about the limit of what is practical in terms having enough mobility to be functional in everyday life. Any more and you are getting up towards the increasingly bedridden. I myself in the real world would ideally want to be 80kg with minimum body fat. If I were a Sumo wrestler I would want to be a copy of Chiyonofuji.

went from 0-6 to 7-6 - not a bad turnaround - 6 of the 7 wins were 14 point days, with a GBL or two. (though the server issues have me at 5-9?? - I will make sure that gets fixed up.)
