can anyone explain why NHK speaks about all time second place of Chiyonofuji (and now Hakuho) in the most consecutive wins list, while Wiki informs that this result is only fifth? Does one take into account different era?

well, the criteria is result. The result is no bomb, no panic, everybody is okay. This means the decision was correct.

respect Aminishiki! I watched (and recorded) it online and then viewed the match step by step. Aminishiki has jumped into the stalls in order to let Tochinoshin touch dohyo first. He gave all for win, real sumo spirit.
