Chiyoshoma had his first kinboshi after 93 tournaments. After a quick search I came up with Takanonami and Kotoshogiku who did “better” with 94. Anyone have a complete list?

Has there ever been a heya with 3 ex-Yokozuna coaching at the same time, as is currently the case at Isegahama-beya (Asahifuji, Hakuho, Terunofuji)?

€80 for nosebleed seats and €2.000 dohyo-side. I guess I’ll keep saving money to go to Japan…

All rikishi currently at Ozeki/Yokozuna had impressive kachi-koshi streaks to achieve their rank: - Hoshoryu: Maegashira 6 -> Ozeki: 10 straight kachi-koshi (currently at 17) - Kotozakura: Maegashira 14 -> Ozeki: 13 straight kachi-koshi (currently at 17) - Onosato: Makushita 10 -> Ozeki: 9 straight kachi-koshi (and counting) - Terunofuji: Jonidan 48 -> Yokozuna: 12 straight kachi-koshi (streak stopped at 15 in fourth tournament as Yokozuna) Musashimaru had 20 straight kachi-koshi to achieve Ozeki and 52 (!!) to achieve Yokozuna

Faustonowaka replied to Reonito's topic in Honbasho Talk
Hakuoho was promoted from Ms15TD (which is techically equal to Ms16e) not so long ago, so I wouldn’t rule out a Hatsuyama promotion just yet -
The Ozeki (Takakeisho) is dead, long live the Ozeki (Onosato)!
