With the number of entries getting in the high 200s, that's quite amazing there's no more than a couple of twin entries. There's not that much options of building a competitive GTB entry (well apparently there is). Also more amazing, how in so many entries in so many years, nobody ever guessed the actual banzuke. Just by sheer luck, one could expect 1 perfect-42. But nope.

Like the 2 other co-leaders, I first picked Takanosho, but switched to "whoever facing Tsurugisho" before going to bed, even if that meant losing the tiebreaker. Probably my best SB basho all around. Still short for the green mawashi.

Hiradoumi - Takarafuji (M8w) is still a possibility, right ? Or did I read the question wrong ?
