It's been a while since we had scores of 60+ but like Hakuho (less any elbow trouble I hope) our Yokozuna continues to deliver and proofs worthy of his rank. The Haru 2019 Yusho 2019 Yusho goes to Flohru with 62 points a full 8 points ahead of Neko who claims the Jun-Yusho. We also have a new rikishi - a big welcome to Tameiki - who earned a respectable score in his/her first Basho. Flohru also grabs the Shukunsho and the Fus and Abudi awards, leaving the Gino-sho for Neko and the Kanto-sho for chishafuwaku. And here are the results for Hatsu Basho 2019. With Y/O performances being an even bigger mess than usual - scores were lower than usual. At least for FAWL our Yokozuna continues to turn out worthy performances, so Hatsu 2019 Yusho goes to Flohru with 53 points. For the first time in quite a while - all prizes have been awarded, with Torafuji claiming a rare and sought after Gino-sho as consultation for his Ketteisen Jun-Yusho loss to chishafuwaku. Mmikasazuma grabs the slightly less sought after Muppet-sho. Well this was always going to be a tough Basho - with no Yokozuna in the second half and quite a few withdrawals. I have to congratulate me on a job well done - how I could score 32 wins in this Basho is a mystery to me; but Nagoya has always been my gaming Basho over the years.
