It seems a bit strange to not talk to your shisho at all after going kyujo, especially when you might be considering retirement. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, and this is actually standard procedure for a senior wrestler, but to me this sounds like the relationship between Takakeisho and Tokiwayama might not be the best. In my opinion, Takakeisho would do himself a great disservice should he decide to continue. His body can clearly no longer take the abuse, and he achieved everything that was within his abilities. I can only hope that he comes to terms with this as soon as possible for the sake of his own health.
