Yes that's probably the reason. Apparently he's become a bit obsessed with robots and the idea of being one. Ayway, this kesho mawashi is still a lot better than the one he has on the kyokai site (Clapping wildly...)

Hmm... I couldn't find it on eurosport.com either, but it's on the frontpage of the swedish eurosport page (.se). I thought it was on all the pages, but apparently not :-S

I don't know how reliable this is, but eurosports homepage now has an option to sign up to get a mail everytime they broadcast a particular sport of your choice, so you won't have to check their site or the papers all the time. Ok, so, that was a pretty long sentence :P I hope I made myself understood.

The competition is pretty strong and I dont think he'll manage to win another one. Also, having the spotlight on you seem to have a negative effect on most rikishi.

As you might have seen I asked around a bit on the BS yahoo-group on how to change my shikona. I found out that I had to retire my old nickname and start a new... Apparently since I fell of the banzuke (from going 7-8 at ms11?!?)... or maybe that was someone else who hijacked my thread :-D Anyhow, the retirement of my old nick worked so I am now known as Naifuzan in BS as well! Just thought I should say that since the SFI page say "Naifuzan" at some places and "Oshidashi" at some. I hope you get what I'm trying to say, I'm very tired and confused right now. Good Night. (Sigh...) :-(

Not quite.. It's supposed to be "to kill with knife" as an answer to kyukenzan's "to kill with bow and sword". I can ask him to write down the kanji or whatever kind of letters its written in :-(

No, I didn't make it. I don't know number or season of the episode but it's when Lisa pretends to be a college student and goes to a poetry reading and some guy reads a poem about somebody named just "Basho" and those guys cheer him on yelling "Go Basho!".

Oh yes, GISP, I had totally forgotten I even participated in that game (First prize...) But I did, and I got 74 points. I have no idea wether that's good or bad since the standings table is arranged by player name and not results (Second prize...)

Doitsuyama, I have a problem with your clips. I just downloaded Bushuyama vs Hayateumi wich is a 9s clip, but the clip doesnt start until after 4 seconds, so when at 9s I've only got to see the first 5 seconds, but the clip stops. Meaning that most of the time I dont get to see the end of the bouts. :-) B-)

Looks like Shuzan has seen the movie "fame" one time too many.

I got MK in most games, but to my big surprise I managed to get 10-5 in hoshitori by some sort of miracle. (Holiday feeling...)

Talking about Kaio, I must say I'm very impressed with him this basho. What fighting spirit. If he'd always had that fighting spirit I'm sure he'd be yokozuna long ago. His bout against Chiyotaikai was amazing. What a fighter he is.
