Some Sumo movies I came across

Actually, I prefer to use none of the products u mentioned (except for windows). There are lots of good video formats not affiliated with microsoft out there. And if you don't like windows media player there are lots of good players as well. Realplayer and the quicktime player are just horrible imho. I've never came across anyone wise in computers who has preffered realplayer of quicktime. ... until now perhaps :-)

Some Sumo movies I came across

Doh... why are sumo movies always real media or quicktime? (Holiday feeling...) Don't get me wrong tho, I'm super happy and thankful for all sumo movies I can get a hold of! So, thanks a lot for the url taka!! (Sign of approval)
  4. Interesting information about the "fan fan" ;-)

    Pix -Day six- Akix 200x

That formula is still true, if you just change "bright shiny blue" to "bright shiny blue, or orange". Sideburns + red mawashi = Takanotsuru.

    Gmail invites

I've got a gmail-account for a while now, and I'm very happy with it. I don't mail very much tho, but it sure beats hotmail wich I used before :-D

Akebono on K-1 GP Sept 25

Remy Bonjasky is far better than anyone Ake has faced so far. I'd be impressed if ake manages to land a single punch on bonjasky :-(

    Age and Behavior

Since when is drinking considered "bad behaviour"? :-P Oh well, I've done a few of those things, and sometimes when I get drunk things around me can have a tendency to break. (Laughing...)

    Ozumo Nations' Cup

I had to vote for the U.S. since they wouldnt be qualified to compete and I am a silly man! (Clapping wildly...) But I'd have to consider Japan favourites, with mongolia as the stronges contender. Maybe in a year or two mongolia would be favourites, but not now.

Wrestling talent runs in the family

I wonder if he actually thinks he can win or if he just goes in, takes a few punches, then laughs all the way to the bank.

the "how did you do in the games" thread ...

Not much of a gaming basho for me, this one. I played only 5 games, 2 pre and 3 daily, and in the daily ones I didnt have time or opportunity to enter each day. Bench Sumo I got 8-7, with a lot of luck and 2 droning days. Most my wins were on low scoring days, and only 2 14p days (one of them resulting in a loss). Chaingang Out on day one by picking Dejima. ISP Havent played this game in a while since I'm always horrible at it. This time I decided to give it a try tho, since its a pretty low effort game. Result was 3-12 (Blushing...) Rotosumo I managed a 8-7 in this one and a little closer to juryo! Hoshitori 6-9 I think... Not very good :-P

Oh, this one is gonna cause some trouble with the english speaking commentators.

Genki ozeki and ozeki returnees day 11

Great bout by Azuma. It looked like he had Asashoryu totally figured out and Shoryu had no idea what to do at any point of the bout. Look for Asashoryu to seek out Tochiazuma for keiko before next basho (Blinking...)

So, that's what happens when I take a basho off (In love...)

    Asashoryu - Kotonowaka matches

I think this debate is proof that it in fact was a correct call. Many different views and opinions, so a torinaoshi was probably the best way to go. Also I would like to comment on QttP... I can certainly see why one would get annoyed by this, but I think the answer might be simple. I dont think the ones that celebrate shoryu's skill are the same ones that put taikais "ballet" down. I, for one, dont mind taikais "ballet", but I dont find it very special. At least not special enough to praise it on the sumo forum. Shoryu's maneuver, however, was just that special!

    Asashoryu - Kotonowaka matches

I noticed another thing... I think the result of the first bout would have been the same wether kotonowaka would have touched his hand down or not. It looked like his knee was gonna touch down before Shoryu anyway.

    Asashoryu - Kotonowaka matches

Wow, Shoryu never seems to cease to amaze. Good bout by Kotonowaka too, but what a spectacular finish. Reminded me of the bout in Nagoya 2003, as QttP pointed out. That one went to Kotonowaka and this one torinaoshi, but shoryu won both (Whatever above, it is funny...)

    Day 7 pics

I didnt see the bout, but in the pictures shuzan is still in, so there's still time for a lift.

    Ozeki poll

I voted Musoyama cause he seems like the weakest ozeki at the moment.
