Hi Ganzo! I haven't asked Takanotani about this specific case but in general he always puts yusho contenders up against as many sanyaku as possible first and then, if possible, against yusho rivals like Kitakachiyama. The schedules always change for yusho contenders in the final four or five days and he will change them again as things progress so you may well end up fighting Kitakachiyama. The schedules currently viewable on the members page are not written in stone. If you have any concerns you can contact him yourself directly on the FAQ page...he's always happy to reply.

Apologies...I may have been mistaken. Apparently Jimizakura wanted to join Sakura, not Mukade. Could someone please put that right! If anyone wants to apply to join Mukade, let me know here. We are always looking for new recruits now that numbers are slowly dropping. @Takanorappa

Hi @Takanorappa I was just looking at the early ICF standings and I noticed Jimizakura hasn't been added to Mukade for Haru Basho. Is it possible to get the lad in the team?

In the VS section, the Aonishiki question is decided along with the Atamifuji one and the points for both need to be credited.

ScreechingOwl is suffering the same Bench problem. He can't access the forum these days so he asked me to post here for him today. Here are his picks to be entered by the admins if possible: 4 Daiesho 3 Hoshoryu 3 Takerufuji 2 Aonishiki 2 Atamifuji Hakuoho Kotoshoho Onosato Wakatakakage Abi Thanks.

How odd. Worldwide web and all that. And Yahoo Japan is the opposite of subversive. Wonder why.

Whatever it is, it ain't skill!

Yes, sorry, I should have clarified...the party was in 2022 but it looks like video evidence has surfaced now and is making the rounds.

Have no idea how I am 19th in this game when I am utterly rubbish at it!

It's not pleasant. Reminds me of a normal night out in England back in the day. Use that old translate function for the gory details. https://news.yahoo.co.jp/articles/c68fc7f917320e235a606835eff5b47f94d5e5a2?source=sns&dv=pc&mid=other&date=20250219&ctg=spo&bt=tw_up

Very impressive run. It's a truly evil game and difficult to maintain any kind of consistency. Poor Chocshoporyu!
-
I remember once the yusho was between Moti and myself on the final day and I finished one above the line and he finished one below the line. Absolute shenanigans.

You can actually contact the guy who runs the game directly from the FAQ page. He's always happy to reply so why not make your suggestion directly? Incidentally, I don't know if anyone noticed, but the Hatsu Basho Makushita division yusho winner had to be determined randomly! And apparently it wasn't the first time!

After a truly dismal three-basho run of picking the wrong ozeki in Bench sumo, I've decided to spend more time scrolling down far less to see the results from March. I'll work up to returning to the yokozuna rank with a target of Kyushu 2028! Sumo Game was a lot more straightforward in this regard!

Not many of us Brits in sumo gaming! Happy birthday!
