Xris 2 Posted September 11, 2006 Dale, with your videos today you added: I hope these will do for tonight- I have to get up in four hours... and Iwakiyama vs Aminishiki Slow-motion only- sorry. 1.28Mb Well I would say with all you are doing for us (Enjoyable TV program...) , you never have to say something like sorry ! We are so indebted from you that nothing you cannot do needs to be excused for. By the way, the slow-motion was magnificent ! xris

Guest Megaturonu Posted September 11, 2006 Hi! I've never posted before, but I figured this was worth it. Thank you so much for the banzuke.com videos. Without them, it would be nearly impossible to follow sumo overseas, unless you're up at 2am and get the streaming feed before it's maxed out. Reading about the day's matches, whether it's here, on Sumotalk, or in the newspapers can't come close to watching the matches, hearing the crowd, etc. The time you put in is greatly appreciated! Jan 0 Posted September 11, 2006 A great thread, it's good to be able to thank Dale. I don't know how you cope, work, RL and sumo on in the middle of the night (I am not worthy...) . I'm generally getting kids & hubby of to school & work when the Sumo is streaming so I really value the chance to watch properly later. (Whistling...) kaiguma 0 Posted September 13, 2006 Thanks for your kindness, everybody. Now stop it :)Dale No, really, I have to squeak in just one more (I am not worthy...) Your dedication to the online sumo-saijin community is top-tier. When I first discovered your archives, before I had found the forum, I really took it all for granted. When I came across missing matches and what not I would even get miffed sometimes. After joining this communal effort, sharing in the love of sumo I did a pretty quick turn-around. I wish I was in a position to contribute in a more substantial way, one that would make use of a site called Paypal, but let me put it like this instead: if you ever need a place to stay in Brooklyn, I would be honored to meet and host a living legend. And we would eat grilled unagi. It would be excellent. (Blushing...)
