Manekineko 200 Posted February 16, 2003 Toki is married too. Shamelesly stealing from Akinomaki-zeki's post on the ML: Toki's wedding reception on the 15th (married in June 2000) http://www.sponichi.co.jp/others/kiji/2003/02/16/07.htmlon the right Takanotsuru Isn't that a large interval between actual wedding and the wedding reception? How many wedded-but-not-publicly rikishi are still out there? ;)
Kaikitsune Makoto 209 Posted February 19, 2003 Nishikido-oyakata ie ex-Mitoizumi looked genki and had good strength in training. He participated in many training sessions and appeared to be encouraging and effective trainer shouting instructions and giving deshi good training bouts adapting his strength to meet the challenge of the learning and growing sumo muscles of his deshi. He was very interested and enthusiastic in his own new heya but looked NOT to be a morning-person. The document also followed him in his recruitment trip to get a new deshi (strong looking 18 year old) who waited him in suit in his home with his parents and answered politely to questions asked by Nishikido-oyakata. If I'd understand Japanese speech more I would know more. He did say "Oishii desu" after tasting chanko and when he showed his shaved head he flexed his head and leaned forward saying "kiree desu" with a smile. They also showed a glimpse of a big bath tub in the heya and that looked relaxing and I want that kind of bath tub too where relaxing bath can be taken!
