After some minor corrections and a good night, Randomitsuki joins the top 4 (5 including Mirai) with Aderechelseamaru dropping out after a horrible night.Doitsuyama joins Asashosakari for a share of the yusho race lead followed by Randomitsuki and then Kintamayama.Good luck on nakabi.

oh .. boy .... Moti is going to bash me for all the bragging yesterday (In jonokuchi...)

;-)

I fully intend to win both Sandanme and Makushita games this time. And if I can top them off with a PTYW yusho, even better.

We shall see.

Well, my guys went 7-0 on nakabi, so your squad better order an extra bowl of chanko, Moti. (In jonokuchi...)

Asashokakari has pulled ahead and Kintamayama is following close behind. Doitsuyama drops down to a third place in a tie with Randomitsuki and Aderechelseamaru who rejoins the leaders.Mirai now has 4 losses so the best possible wins/15 is now 14. Genzai is improving. Neko sits at the median while Fay is right on the kk line. Mukashi is tied with 2 others for second last ahead of Imumaru who may be nursing an injury ...Good luck on day 9.

The emphasis should be on NAKABI, sir.. We still have 7 full days of Xmas shopping. And even with your 7-0, I am only 2 paces away, and it's not every day you get a 7-0, sir.

We shall see..

Here is the expanded table with the number of kk rikishi, number of rikishi leading their group, best score among your 15 rikishi, and the projected yusho points. Some of you do better with just wins and losses while others benefit from having a few of the very best rikishi amongst your selections. One of the biggest point drains is to have none of your 15 rikishi stay in the yusho race. Asashosakari seems to have a good lead on the rest of us. Randomitsuki, Doitsuyama, and Aderechelseamaru are still close enough to keep him on his toes though. Kintamayama is falling behind. He has 9 kachikoshi trending rikishi which is good but very few of them are the best in their groups and none of them are keeping up with the yusho race leaders and this is what is holding him back.7 of us would be below the kk line if we left it at wins and losses. With the kk and group win points as well as the yusho lead bonus, only 2 of us are below the line.Mirai has 9 losses now to go with 6 undefeated rikishi. Good luck on day 10. Edited by Itachi

Asashosakari has a small lead over Doitsuyama and Randomitsuki. It looks like it will be a tight race.Kintamayama is the only other player with 11 kk trending rikishi but his overall score is getting demolished by the fact that none of his 11 successful rikishi have more than 4 wins at this point. That puts him 2 wins behind the yusho race leaders and cost him 100% of the yusho bonus. On the other hand, Susanoo and Tamanaogijima are able to stay above the kk line despite having more losses than wins since they have at least one rikishi still in the yusho race lead with 6 wins.Good luck on day 12.

Asashosakari has stretched out his lead a bit over Randomitsuki, Doitsuyama, and Yubiquitoyama.Kintamayama, along with several others, sees a big improvement in his score after improving his best rikishi to 5 wins. Kintamayama has the most kk trending rikishi.Randomitsuki has the most group leading rikishi.Good luck on day 13.

Aah, I lost a kk-rikishi between days 11 and 12. How did I do that? (In a state of confusion...) . Is this the number of rikishi that can still reach kk?

My projected Yusho-Points increased from 0 to 5 - I also thought that this is not possible. (Whistling...)

Thank you for this game - I don't won't to be a bother.

I think it's all rikishi with wins > losses. If so, then one of your guys must have dropped from 3-2 to 3-3.

My projected Yusho-Points increased from 0 to 5 - I also thought that this is not possible. (Whistling...)

It's because your best rikishi(s) after Day 11 had four wins (4-2 or 4-1), so you were two wins away from the yusho lead (6-0). One or several of your 4-1 rikishi won on Day 12, getting you within one win of the yusho lead again, so you got back the 5 yusho points.

I suggest making bonus-point comparisons only between the standings from even-numbered days...the odd-numbered days can be a bit misleading due to the split torikumi in the lower divisions.

I think it's all rikishi with wins > losses. If so, then one of your guys must have dropped from 3-2 to 3-3.

Itachi replies> Yes, that's exactly right. It's kachikoshi trending rikishi.

My projected Yusho-Points increased from 0 to 5 - I also thought that this is not possible. :-)

A good suggestion. Some of us were really bouncing around there.

Yay, I managed to include not just one, but two shonichi fusen losers on my squad...is there a replacement rule for such cases?

(In case it's similar to the MsGame rules, I'd like to replace Takahama with Yamasaki, and Tokitsukasa with Hoshizakura...)

I think the replacements will be the picks by Mukashi (highest mover into a bracket). Anyway, since I do not know Mukashi's picks, I would also be interested to know whether changes can be made. If yes, I'd like to replace Takahama with Tokitairyu.

Whew, decision vindicated in the end...if I don't win the yusho, at least it won't be because of not picking Tokitairyu as the replacement...

Sd19w Kagaya (7-0) zubuneri Sd10e Tokitairyu (6-1)
Sd9w Yamasaki (6-1) oshidashi Sd1e Mochimaru (5-2)

It's Asashosakari in the lead with Randomitsuki very close behind. Doitsuyama has done well but will need a lot of luck to pull in front. There are only two 7 win rikishi. 2 of us picked Kagaya and 5 of us selected Masuhikari. The loser of the kettei-sen will earn 10 yusho bonus points and the winner, the full 15. Will this affect the winner of our game? Yes it might! Randomitsuki has Kagaya while Asashosakari has Masuhikari. If Kagaya wins the yusho, that could be enough to put Randomitsuki ahead.Susanoo is stradling the kk line despite having more losses than wins thanks to Tokitairyu's 6-1 record (one less than the yusho lead). Fay leads the unlucky few who have more wins than losses but are mk overall due to a lack of really strong performers.Good luck on day 14.

Congratulations to Randomitsuki who finished first in every category to claim the yusho! All but 7 of the 27 players earned kachiksohi. Those that earned the full 15 yusho points had Kagaya who won the Sandanme kettei-sen. Those that had Masuhikari, the kettei-sen loser, earned just 10. Anyone with a rikishi with the next best record (6-1) got 5 and everyone else got nothing. Thanks to everyone for playing this game. I look forward to setting it up again for the Haru Basho. Now to work out the new banzuke!

Wow, after the virtual yusho I had in the inaugural basho, it's soo much better to get the "real" thing. (First prize...)

Thanks to Itachi for running this game. The hard work put into it is really appreciated.
