Mmikasazuma 12 Posted July 17, 2003 I live in Hungary, and I am a medical doctor, 50 years old, female. :-) It was last november I saw sumo on Eurosport for the first time. :-) I am very enthusiastic about it ever since. (You are going off-topic...) I got my little knowledge of the topic from the hungarian sumo website (www. sumo.hu). :-P I am really angry with Eurosport's late and slow coverage of sumo. >:-) It showed Natsu basho only two days before Nagoya already started. (Sign of disapproval) So I am glad to join you, get all the informations and your opinions on the events I haven't seen yet. I still need a lot to learn too. :-D
Feginowaka 53 Posted July 17, 2003 I am really angry with Eurosport's late and slow coverage of sumo. It showed Natsu basho only two days before Nagoya already started. Welcome to the forum! We have to be thankful to Eurosport, not angry. At least they show Sumo, which is not self-evident. In europe I don't know any other possibility to watch Sumo on TV. Better late than never... Zenjimoto 40 Posted July 17, 2003 (edited) Welcome to the forum! You are joining quite an illustrious group of Hungarian fans (You are going off-topic...) May not be the largest group, but surely one of the most vocal, with their own Yahoo Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/szumo) and no less than three Hungarian sumo games :-) Have fun! Cheers Zenjimoto, from Hungary's sister nation... :-P Edited July 17, 2003 by Zenjimoto

Kotoseiya Yuichi 3 Posted July 17, 2003 (You are going off-topic...) Nice to have you here. You've undoubtedly noticed there is also a small Hungarian subforum here where you can discuss about sumo in Hungarian as well although we would appreciate if you directed your messages to the English side as well whenever you deem it fitting. :-P

Mmikasazuma 12 Posted July 20, 2003 MInd if I ask what area of medicine is your speciality?Fujisan: Where did you get the name if you dont mind me asking? I am a psychiatrist. Great profession, working not only with very different people, but with their thoughts, believes, fears and hopes and on. (Applauding...) My name can mean something about not beeing able to choose a rikisi-like name. I have more favorit rikisi than it would be possible to combine. I gave that up, and went the easier way. (Sigh...) Lots of M-s mean my name, and other M-s in my life.
Fujisan 533 Posted July 20, 2003 Well its unique Mmmi but I wonder how long it will be before people start putting too many or too few Ms? A psychiatrist huh? Better watch what I say then so you cant psyco-analise me-Only Im as mad as a hatter.
Mmikasazuma 12 Posted July 21, 2003 ...Only Im as mad as a hatter. Hi Fujisan, my dictionary tells me "hatter" is something like a wild animal. Your wolfe doesnt look like a wild one... And I heard it doesn't bite. (Applauding...)
Fujisan 533 Posted July 21, 2003 (edited) Its a quaint English saying Mmmi but Im sure youve heard of the Mad Hatter in alice in wonderland-That said I think it is linked to animals originally. As for the wolf not biting, well I dont know about that-Try me on the bench sumo dohyo sometime-Many a Rikishi as had his blood sucked by the black and white Wolf. Yoavoshimaru 0 Posted July 21, 2003 A psychiatrist could have a blast with our forum icons and the way they're used :-D (Applauding...) (Bye, bye...)
Mmikasazuma 12 Posted July 22, 2003 A psychiatrist could have a blast with our forum icons and the way they're used :-( (Shaking head...) (Applauding...) Oh I really enjoy them. I liked the band you posted the other day, but Matrix became my favorit now (with Mr Smith's sweating). It's great to see how these icons mean sometimes different than the text. (Kicked by own computer...)
