Asashoryu did nothing wrong. He just played soccer with kids, called back to Japan and received unjust punishment and sit home all the time and he said he wants to go home Mongolia becaue it was scary home alone in Japan. It is actually other side got hysterical and came up all sorts of stories including psychiological issues to cover up their mistake.

Asa was just sitting on the coach in his home watching TV and doing some telephone call to Mongolia :-P He did not say anything wrong or bad to those who are against him. He was just quite and calm waiting for decision which he knew already.

His true mental state is known only to those who are close to him- parents, trusted friends. None of them including Asa did state anything. We just hear only doctors public statements which very odd and completely against their professional ethics. All of these Asa sagas were not very well orchestrated NOH play.

I bet , those in Sumo Association still have their knives under their sleeves. Now it is only upto Asashoryu to watch out, lesson learned. I think he knows rule of the game

It wasn't about a stupid soccer game. it is all about a shameful mongolian Japan sumo yokozuna who tried to weasel out of his duties as a yokozuna. If you and your comments about how great and innocent he is are an example of mongolians then maybe it would be good if all contact with you was cut.

Well harakirida , sounds like You gave me permission to call you "geschlossene arseloch". I did not wrote all the Japan is mean as you wrote. I am more than interested to promote Japan culture in Mongolia establishing Mongolian Sumo School headed by Yokozunas. Isn't it most legitimate way to establish well rooted Sumo in Mongolia by Yokozunas? They could bring real Japanese sacred dohyo to Mongolian soil in ceremonious way according to traditoin of both sides.

Whether he is sulking or he is playing the game according to their rule, you don't know. I never tought he is great guy, now I think HE IS THE MAN

I think a more appropriate punishment would be demotion. Demote Asashoryu to ozeki for his violations of hinkaku, and make it clear that he will NEVER be repromoted.

Let him continue to fight and rack up all the yushos he wants, but prove that there is indeed a difference between winning yushos and being a yokozuna.

If it is obvious that someone has not read most of thread one and thread 2, or is ignoring information intentionally, this unfortunate ostrich's post should be removed. If some poor ostrich posts such comments repeatedly, this poor ostrich should be temporarily banned to save himself from himself and constant public humiliation. When the ostrich's ban is lifted, if he returns, we will all see whether he has learned the lesson or if he is still acting like a stupid child, in which case the ostrich's ban will be made permanent.

Since I am often involved in this type of thing, I do hesitate to close a thread but I agree with you, this thread does not contribute to anything remotely resembling a substance.
