This is funny, cause I JUST came home from the movie to see this post :-P Other than the fact that a bunch of rural Japanese speak flawless english, it was quite a good movie, although I think that Shogun probably portrays better what would really happen to a gaijin in feudal Japan of the olden days :-) Definitely worth a watch, though. No, don't skip it on Tom's behalf. I thought he did a good job with this. Initially it was a bit of a turnoff for me too, seeing the trailer, but I was pleasantly surprised by the prettyboy.
