Jejima 1,401 Posted June 26, 2011 I'm going to Mongolia next month, for a quick week's holiday. I arrive in Ulaanbaatar on 14th July, and leave on the 21st. I see from Moti's recent post, that my trip will coincide with the end of the Naadam tournament, which I would love to go, if at all possible. Please, can those who know, let me know, how I can attend the Naadam. Also, any general holiday tips of what to do whilst there would be greatly appreciated. As it will be for only one week, I guess I won't be able to do too much....
Murakami 0 Posted July 4, 2011 If you are coming on July 14th, you maybe a little too late for Naadam in Ulaanbaatar. However, you may go to the countryside for smaller versions tough. Find a tour guide and get out of UB as soon as you can, I'd say. There are many quality tour guides in the city. It's a rugged country. Go to Terelj for more of a touristy affair, or if you are an outdoorsy person, try something more challenging. Jejima 1,401 Posted July 8, 2011 Change of plans.... Now leaving for Mongolia on Sunday (10th), so will be there at the time of the Naadam - but I hear that the tickets are sold out. Anyone know how I can get hold of some?
Jejima 1,401 Posted July 9, 2011 In case anyone is interested - I think I might now have stadium tickets for the two days (Exclamation...) Will anyone else be there?
