Games Bugs

Recommended Posts

We had quite a few bugs last basho that we reported all over the place for Doitsuyama's (in)convenience so I thought I'd start a dedicated thread here.

I'll start by informing Doitsuyama that the Seki-Toto banzuke page is showing the banzuke for TTT.

Where are you going to get that banzuke? I was just on the game site, where clicking the banzuke button gave me the ST banzuke for Natsu 2010.

Hi Fukurou-san!

I went from the Superbanzuke games list. Must be a slightly different address to that from the internal site. Oh, well.

No problem whatsoever, but a bug is a bug and it might help Doitsuyama in some arcane way if I tell him!

Hi Alexander!

There's no Torikumi in Maegashira game.

And the Results site shows an application error.

Did you see this?

How I see is now the entry site working.

This was the most important.

We can all play the game.

The other things let's see later.

Thanks, Alexander!

In Bench Sumo, I am unable to change my basho slate (from my original 'placeholder' slate - this is the day before basho starts.

As a result, I can't enter a lineup with my preferred slate, as opposed to the 'placeholder' slate that I submitted earlier.

Not sure what to do about that other than to email a few people.

On the other hand, results may be better this way! :-)

Yes, same problem here.

Try this link provided by Doitsuyama via the mailing list. I had to use it earlier! http://benchsumo.sumogames.de

Me, three.

I usually wouldn't care much, except that I have Homasho on the slate, whom for obvious reasons I would like to replace (with Takekaze, for the record). I'll stay tuned for now, hopefully won't have to play with an automatic kyujo-fusenpai on the bench...

I'm having a totally different problem-no problem in changing my placeholder, but when I enter there is no usual "past meetings" thingy at the bottom.

You mean you can actually change your placeholders? (In jonokuchi...)

If was possible until 15:00 CET... the bug is corrected now.

Still don't have the summary of my picks' opponents at the bottom as per usual. Anyone else having this problem or is everyone seeing that except me?

I don't think that was in place back in November either.

Correct, it wasn't, and I also miss it very much *whimper*

That's right. It wasn't there in November either. It was really convenient to have that there before then. Maybe someone will be able to restore that feature for a future basho if they know a lot of us would like to see it.

It is one hour and fifteen minutes after day 1 has been complete, and I am unable to enter a line-up for day 2 in Bench Sumo.

The message reads.... 'Bench Sumo entries for day 1 are now closed!'

Bench Sumo now okay for day 2 entries.... Maybe it was something I did wrong?

Several results pages aren't up at the moment.

Sekitori-Toto results are missing which is unusual as the results were automatically derived from the Database in the past and were immediately available. I think there has been some re-programming of the game because I cannot recall that I ever had to register in order to participate.

A couple of other games that always looked to me as if they need a short kick in order to generate results (Odd Sumo, Oracle, Quad, Hoshitori), haven't received that kick so far.

That's part of Doitsuyama's transfer of Sekitoto to the unified login. Registering for the basho is now mandatory.

Sekitoto results show a loss for everybody on day 1 (though the detailed results are available, as can be seen from clicking on the day 1 results)

I think Quad, Odd, Toto, Hoshitori and Oracle all just need that kick you mentioned, Rando. Doitsuyama will no doubt get to that soon. Don't really want to see my Toto record, to be honest.
