As far as I know the Toto banzuke is been announced and updated here on the Sumo Forum from quite some time by Asashosakari.
Here is the latest one. For the next one stay tuned on the Sumo Games threads !

I did get signed up, but I still felt it was worth mentioning in case anyone else tried getting to it through the Superbanzuke and failed to realize it was accessible through other means.

Happy New Year to everybody. (Holidayfeeling...)

Is Ciber Sumo no longer active and discontinued? Have not (yet) found any announcement on that, appreciate your help.

I'll second that: Does anyone with connections to our Spanish gaming community know something? It would be a shame to lose a long-standing game like Ciber Sumo.

I'm still not getting UDH confirmation e-mails. Guess I'll re-enter again so I can screenshot my team.

Odd and Quad aren't sending e-mails either. Says there's some kind of error.

at least with Odd sumo and Quadrumvirate you can see your picks highlighted so you know for sure but UDH you can only assume your entry have been submitted

UDH was always delivered straight to my "junk mail/spam" folder for whatever reason.

I think that happened to me once also, so I've been searching there. This is the 3rd basho in a row where I'm getting no e-mail at all. It's not a big deal, but the game's more interesting to follow when you at least know your own team! It'd be cool if we could view everyone's teams on the site.

I'm getting UDH confirmation email for a change this basho, after not getting any in the last few ones.

As for my games, i really don't know. I can see the emails going out...

But did you receive them yourself?

Yes, from 3 games. Salarycap does not send emails I believe - not implemented.

Quad pretends to send the e-mail, but Odd straight up says "Error sending confirmation mail".

Edit - Good news, both are working day 2. I even got a UDH e-mail when I resubmitted.

I put in an entry for Ozumo Bingo (it has the entry logged, my name is on the participant list and I can see the selections there), but I don't appear on the lists for the days. Is this an issue for new players or an actual bug? 84 people show as entered, but three are new and only 81 show up on the participant list, so I wondered if it's an issue getting new people into the system.

Sukubidubidu seems to have already progressed past day 3 in Chain Gang. Impressive!

Konbanwa Sumo Spiffy-san,

I'll let a person in charge of OBG know.

Now it's really weird. Not only has Sukubidubidu been marked as winner prematurely, his pick Asanoyama's aite is erroneously listed as Chiyosakae. (Inastateofconfusion...)

Googlemail and others bounced the confirmation mails because the message header was missing a valid messageid that would tell the receiving server that the mail is legit. Some others did accept it but marked it outright as junk.

(Solution for game hosts if you have the same problem: you need to set an SPF record in your domain settings.)

Any news anyone? For this baho we know it's over but in general?

1, Totoro's Sumo Hoshitori Game has finally started, but I shoul have been promoted to Ozeki with 34 wins over the last 3 basho. In fact I shoud have been promoted even earlier, for Nagoya 22 with 35 wins!

2. Juryo Game - Tokushoryu's win on day 2 is still missing.

That's not how promotion works in Hoshitori:

http://sumodb.sumogames.de/Hoshi/HshRules.aspx

Basically, it doesn't matter what your record is over a few basho. You need at least 11 wins from Se or a yusho from any other  Sekiwake rank to get Ozeki.

The promotion of Sekiwake to Ozeki is subject an extra rule: He must have a 3-basho record prior to the promotion of 34 or more wins."

Don't confuse this with THE rule, it's an EXTRA rule. A player must have 34 wins in the last 3 basho AND be at a rank that results to promotion to Ozeki on that record after the basho.  So, the record does matter. It's required. But not as much as having the right rank in that last basho.

"A kachi-koshi (more wins than losses) score will always result in a promotion"  isn't technically true for Sekiwake. Your 8-7 at Se resulted in a demotion to Sh, although the same rank. making Ozeki promotion harder.

With regard to Hoshitori Game, you both are partially correct. You need 34 wins over three basho. Plus the last basho must be 11-4 or better. Kitakachiyama‘s 35 wins run ended 8-7, and the current 34 wins run ended (so far) with 10-5. The good news: 11-4 this basho will lead to promotion. At the moment, Kitakachiyama is aiming for a 10-5 finish, thus needing slight improvements.
