Kintamayama 45,142 Posted May 26, 2013 A very very big thank you to Kintamayama for his hard work! your videos are always entertaining to watch. And happy birthday as well! P.S.: On the topic of spelling errors and entirely in good humour -- yesterday I was delighted to find out that we apparently have a new Russian sekitori called Kitataiski :) That actually was on purpose, as it came on the heels of "take twoski" and "oshidaski" after I wrote "sorry" in Russian. I was chagrined that nearly no one took notice..

Vir4030 24 Posted May 26, 2013 I was chagrined that nearly no one took notice.. I took notice. We are enjoying the subtle humor in your comments. I also thought you would like to know - this is my first basho! I have been a Yakyu fan since 2001, and have always wanted to learn to enjoy sumo. A new co-worker is a big fan of sumo and we watched all of the days together from your videos. They have been great - and the subtitles with the rikishi's names, rank, records, and personal record against each other has been great! You put on a great production, it is very appreciated, and you have been a big help in creating a new sumo fan. (and maybe more because we have been watching in a group at work, and several people are really enjoying the bouts) Thank you so very much, and we will be seeing you in July for sure!

Kyokuhagyo 528 Posted May 26, 2013 Big thanks and happy birthday, sir of golden balls! The quirky humour and all the little hidden details in your videos make them twice as entertaining to watch. But also thanks to araibira and the people who link the videos to the database in such timely fashion, a few years ago it'd have been unimaginable to have a complete archive of pretty much all bouts to just pick from and watch on demand.
