The Friday 爆報！ＴＨＥフライデー - always at 19h Like the wide shows I listed above for Mitakeumi, it disappears usually very quickly - the one from last Friday, the 20th, was slightly sumo related, all about the empress of wide show turmoil, hyogi-in kai ex-top Ikenobo, seen as the natural enemy of Taka. Starts at 84m, till 102m, several CMs. At the beginning a glimpse of the training of kyujo Sokokurai as the heya top, but it looked like quite old footage. The kidnapped son is now a rakugo storyteller, the okami-san runs the sumo chaya Kiyokuni. I didn't notice anything of that story at the time, though I was in Japan and also then had kept an eye on the tabloids. Many videos of this on YT - many will disappear quickly. inhashi 2,363 Posted September 1, 2018 (edited) BS日テレ (Fuji TVLive Channel 017) aired the second part of a program of a 'private/personal sumo heya story' that featured Naruto and Tokitsukaze beya. The next episode of the series will be broadcast on the same channel next week (Sept.8 19:00 JST) with Tomozuna beya's story. Plenty of Kyokutaisei from what I've seen in the preview. Today's showed a lot of past degeiko footage mostly of Yutakayama, some Toyonoshima, Torakio, and ex-Kotooshu as they interact with each other/local supporters. Also addressed hardships of dealing with injuries - Yukatayama's right knee and Toyonoshima's ruptured left Achilles as well as his right calf muscle. Not so easy to get now: we're running out of channels quickly - next gone from FujiTV.live are the NiTere and TBS channels, about 10 in all. Last year the heya trained under a tent at the same location spot. They also attended a joint training camp with a local wrestling school in Niigata last month. Although it is very butchered and fragmented, it is in a playlist to make it somewhat easier to watch.
