Endo was not at the graduation ceremony in the sumo institute, but he was awarded an honor prize for outstanding study grades, only 2 other graduates of the about 50 rikishi got it as well.

The gomenfuda has been erected outside the Fukuoka Kokusai Center ahead of the Kyushu basho.

The foot is still swollen, but Endo restarted keiko doing the basics. He was told that 3 weeks rest were necessary and is treated each day. On the 20^th the jungyo will be in his home pref. Ishikawa.

Today Zakzak had an interesting piece about Takamisakari and Endo, big bread-winners for the NSK.

The article gives the same thoughts about Endo's sansho I did during the basho.

Masunoyama will be kyujo for the Aki jungyo, his back problems. He wants to concentrate on curing it to be ready for Kyushu.

Named now after the Japanese super hero Ultraman Taro of the 5^th (Hochi) or 6^th (Wikipedia) show in the Ultra series:
tiny (61 kg, 164cm) Ōshio changed his shikona to 宇瑠虎 Urutora, Taro 太郎. Hoping for henshin (transformation) on the dohyo when facing the huge opponents.
Ōshio drank 5l of water before the weight check at the entry exam and made it through.

Goeido got a laceration at his right big toe at the start of moushi-ai keiko, but with taping and tabi finished 16-1 against Myogiryu etc. at the heya.
