The papers are split 2-2 as to the kimarite of the finals..Kotenage vs. Uwatenage

Taikai: "I missed the Korean Koen due to an injury. I hope I managed to capture the hearts of the Chinese fans". Asa: "It's been a while since someone threw me like that. Please keep an eye out for tomorrow's match", he said, hinting at a revenge.

Before the matches started, Sandanme 13 Nakanokuni from China took the microphone and explained the fundamentals of Sumo in Chinese and did some demonstrations with Makushita lead Kotokasuga. "The crowd's intense cheering was fantastic. I was really happy", he said. "Now, I'd like to become a sekitori and return to Beijing", he added.

Cheers Kinta-san

Strong tachiai with a bounce back - bit feeble on Iwaki's part though to get yorikiried so easily.

Checked out Musoyama's efforts on day 1 in effort to find his "new resolve" to Ozeki-like sumo. He looked good in the first two (downloadable through banzuke.com) bouts; strong opening and comfortable move to the belt. Even looked good fending off 'Taikai's thrusts early in the semifinal, but got caught leaning by a much quicker opponent. Musoyama was never the fast agile type, but that seems a source of his problems quite often against the current crop of Makuuchi.
