Video Stream - Availability

Yes, it seems it was just the change to a mandatory registration / log in.

I hope we will have some CYMO from the Garage Studio at UBS! ;-)

(I couldn't find any "CYMO" on tomorrow's progam schedule though. Let's hope they are just not accurate.

The entry is "Nagoya Basho" in Mongolian. It is at the 20:30 entry which will be their digest for day 1. The written day 1 schedule is usually unreliable. It smooths out as the basho progresses. Look for live coverage at about 4:10PM JST (and Mongolian Daylight time).

I'm so confused, you can only watch the free one live? There is no way I can watch it when it's airing in Japan. So then there is Jason who refuses to post the highlights so he just picks a few matches, I like to see them all, I don't understand this desire to show some he thinks are important. This guy is on Vimeo but he is a day late or more sometimes, but good quality. I hate to say I am upset and I wish there was a way to watch sumo when I have time without paying a ton.

It's a very fascinating music video right now, but I would prefer sumo instead...

Well, as a kind of consolation, there are glimpses of Sumo in the video - Mongolian Sumo that is... :-)

It's a national culture festival. Sumo'll be on later. There was a billion dollar bass singing about half an hour ago.

He is really a hero.

Thanks for sharing the link. It's working and much better quality than UBS.

The horses are Mongolian horse racing. The race is several miles long across the steppes, and the riders are all very young boys and girls.

Mongolian Naadam is pretty damn exciting. I've got two windows up and watching both NHK and UBS at the same time. (Blinking...)

As it streams the NHK G TV channel, the Ozumo broadcast should usually start at 15:10 JST (08:10 CEST), joining the live action in mid-Juryo. Today, they just missed Ura's bout by a few seconds.

It is still screen-shrinking live-ticker breaking news that it can get hot in the summertime in Japan...

As mentioned earlier, the NHK stream is running with about a 2.5 minute delay. The results are being posted on the NHK web site about 2.5 minutes before the match is streamed.
