Yubinhaad 11,604 Posted February 2, 2014 A few scenes from the Kokugikan ahead of the 4th Hakuho Cup, which is most probably underway right now as I'm so late. Setting up the trophy table. Yubinhaad 11,604 Posted February 3, 2014 A few more from the Hakuho Cup. Raising funds for the young boy as reported above. With the competitors. Attending the competition were a couple of former Ozeki, Baruto and Kaio. The two Yokozuna watching the competition, along with Ozeki Kakuryu. Other sekitori in attendance: Satoyama, Toyonoshima, Daikiho and Shotenro. No idea what those things held by Daikiho and Shotenro are. Hakuho vs. Toyonoshima in the 'hand sumo' competition. Rikishi were also playing the role of shinpan, here Sokokurai participates in a mono-ii. Hakuho watches over a bout. Nakanishi, winner of that bejewelled Osamu Suzuki belt. Hakuho awards a medal. And waves farewell.

Orion 431 Posted February 5, 2014 This must have been the event that was just finishing as I went into the basement for Dewanoumi's retirement party. Different extrances clearly marked but only by metal barriers. Got one shot of a line-up outside. Orion
