Since it is visible on Niji (I watch it on the free part of JSTV): the best weekday sumo corner of all news is in NHK Sports+, 11:20 P.M. JST. They analyse one main bout and point out the “+” content that was decisive and often have additional info on the rikishi also for one or two other bouts.

Even better is Sunday Sports (only audible on free JSTV), 9:50 P.M. JST, with Oguruma-oyakata's analysis of the basho so far.

It started this basho, looks like any mobile phone using Android can use this Google play app not only in Japan.

In Germany it is unavailable too.

It would be interesting if somebody in Japan at the moment could acquire the app and then try if it works outside of Japan, too.

I don't use a smart phone, so I can't try it when I go there in May. And I also don't know if it is possible to fool the Google Play app store like NHK or YouTube and successfully pretend you are a smart phone user (registered?) in Japan.

Edit: I forgot that it will be hard to find a mobile that works in both areas

If someone can snag the apk or run a Titanium Backup then grab the backup file I will be glad to try it out in the good ol US of A. PM me if you want. I'm running Android with a custom JB rom on my Note 2. Edited March 13, 2014 by Couginishiki

He does have mental disabilities so the rikishi are aware and tolerate his attentions.

Since when paraolympics (physically disabled) and mentally disabled became more important than the only samurai left?

If you follow this forum you could have found ways to not be dependent on the NHK G schedule.

Just use your (mental) abilities...

Q : 2 zubuneri on the same day, how often does that happen ?

1) perfectly executed

2) a less fortunate one

A : the only other moment I could find, was Hatsu 1957, day 11

Both guys also excel in kainahineri (Ikeru & Satonofuji), of which we also saw one today.
