Masunoyama special

Recommended Posts

Did anyone with access to Japanese TV manage to catch the NHK special with Masunoyama and his heya-mates surprising his Mom (who is Filipina by the way) at Senso Temple with a song and dance? I just managed to catch some of it. It was fun and quite moving. I looked to see if it was online anywhere, but haven't found it yet. If it is around somewhere to see, I recommend. I did record it, but have no way to transfer it over.

I looked it up, and apparently they are showing it again today at 4:05 pm Japan time (June 5th), which is about 4 hours from now, if anyone has a way or a chance to see it.

I saw the clip they showed on senshuraku. It looked very sweet.

I'm hoping they might show it on TV Japan or NHK World, but I kind of doubt it. Maybe it will show up on Youtube at some point.

It will be on TV Japan this coming Saturday evening.

Regarding the TV Japan broadcast: Is this the 4:15AM EDST/1:15AM PDST broadcast Sunday morning called "Dash! At home."?

Looks like it is, because it corresponds well to the Japanese title: 突撃!アッとホーム

Per this pdf, sounds like it:

http://www.google.com/url?url=http://www.nhk.or.jp/pr/english/press/pdf/20140522.pdf&rct=j&frm=1&q=&esrc=s&sa=U&ei=xhKSU5jpDdDooATa3oLYCg&ved=0CEEQFjAH&usg=AFQjCNEx09mdHFTw8vmYfHSPvVVFDpRqiQ

Don't know if that link will work or not but it's about it being a joint production between NHK and Filipino network. Part of the text says "This program was co-produced by the popular NHK variety shows, Totsugeki! At Home!

Now I know when to set the DVR.
