kuroimori 1,634 Posted February 5, 2015 Yeah, I might have a chance to be in Osaka on Friday, March 13 or even on Monday, March 16. Not sure yet whether I should go for it as my first and only live experience (at Kokugikan, Day 2 of Hatsu 2009) wasn't that amazing. Might have been due to the cheap seats in the upper ranks but I really don't feel like spending a fortune for masu / sunakaburi seats. I might just opt for a full HD coverage at the NHK BS sub channel.
Sumozumo 240 Posted February 5, 2015 Is this sold out sold out or are there individual seats left? I'll be in town.

I'm not really interested in paying a whole lot of money to get the kind of seats where you can actually get a good sense of the realness of the action; all the pro baseball/football/etc. games my father took me to, I really wasn't all that enamored with seeing the action live from the cheap seats; I would have generally preferred to have watched on TV where you can see replays and such. When some of the World Cup was played 5 miles from my house in 1994 while I was an active middle school player (or thereabouts), we went to one of the matches, and I have a distinct memory of being chastised for being more interested in the magazine/program/literature/pamphlet thingy with information about everything than I was in watching the match.
Sumozumo 240 Posted February 6, 2015 Is this sold out sold out or are there individual seats left? I'll be in town. See here. This seems not accurate as I was able to buy seats for one of the X categories. And looking at the seat selector screen... there were quite a lot left as well.
