Akinomaki 39,993 Posted April 22, 2017 Ancient style Yamato-Izumo dolls are said to have their roots in haniwa figures buried in ancient funeral mounds (kofun). Standard forms are the rikishi, the dog and the left-above style kimono (for the dead) doll. Akinomaki 39,993 Posted June 10, 2017 (edited) While being a big fan of the AsaChan ozumo corner, I completely missed the chances to get the free badges (and fans) they distribute each basho at the TBS broadcast booth. Mania fans like MyYetSetLife likely have complete sets o the recent set was this, yokozuna with attendants I post the rest as overview, first recent designs of a character, then older ones All are in cattle=Ushi/gyu-style, after the unofficial AsaChan mascot ZuhMou-chan. ooo o Some close to real names, some not. Hakumooh ooooo Ushiku-chan is of course named after his shusshin ooo they had a yusho badge for him already last year o Kakugyu o Bafaro (buffalo) - Ba is derived from Ha, fa from fu and shiranui style - might mean HF, but also is the rival of mascot zuumou-chan ooooo Ushiyasu o with Ushioi o Amenishiki ooooo Ushinojo o premature yushoooo Terunoushi o the 2 as bad luck with Shimofuriwake-oyakata o yet unknown Moohtaro o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o ooo o o PR by AsaChan family rikishi oo oo o Edited June 10, 2017 by Akinomaki
