Asameshimae 220 Posted March 13, 2016 Sorry, if I'm starting a thread that doesn't need to be. I lost all 3 of my picks - too bad. But it always takes me a second to be sure. This is because a loss in the maegashira game is marked by a white circle. A win, called a shiro-boshi/white star is represented by a white circle in many places all over Japan, including the newspaper. Could whomever runs the maegashira game change it so that a white circle is a win and a black circle is a loss, as is the case most everywhere else? I'd send am email asking about this, but I don't know who runs the game. For now, I'll just keep changing my Mac screen to negative colours to keep myself from getting confused. :)
Profomisakari 873 Posted March 13, 2016 (edited) I have a Suggestion for you: Please mark all tables, where you think they have the false circles, and copy them to a white window with black letters. You will see a great wonder. All circles are right! Or look only at the marked table! I hope, blue instead of black will be good enough for you. Profomisakari 873 Posted March 28, 2016 (edited) The Hatsu Basho is over. There was also a Maegashira game in the Basho, but nothing was to read about it in this forum. Why also, the game has its own site and there was all to see, what happened. Thanks Doitsuyama there were no glitches, for which one should have any special post messages. All is in the green area But at the end should me be allowed a short summary for those, who not followed the game36 players were present, one of them only once to look short, how the game goes. That the game this time was missing the same voltage like other bashos before, is owed one player: Chishafuwaku! He lead from day one, was every day on the top and was at the end such a kind of superior, that he could afford to lie on days 13 and 15 two complete zero numbers, without any trace of danger, that he might still could lose.At the end he had with his 365 points still 35 points lead before Achiyama and 46 before Mariohana, who allowed himself on the last day, not to give up a vote. After those three it was close between the other pursuers. Congratulations, C h i s h a f u w a k u ! What a great performance! Chishafuwaku too won the Kanto Sho with sensational 193 points for the days 1 to 5.The Shukun Sho went to Anjoboshi with good 56 points. Achiyama gets the Gino Sho. With the last daily and the total result was too the new banzuke calculated. Here has unfortunately happened something regrettable. The former yokozuna Jejima has unfortunately failed to request kosho on the game site. :-( unfortunately too I didn't see this, so I could not remind him about the problem. So he keeps not automatically his rank and PV value, but falls with 0 points very deep in the ranking. (Weeping...) Sorry, Jezz, but this is written in the rules and progammed by Kofuji. New Yokozuna is Yusho winner Chishafuwaku,Ozeki are Torafuji (4th place in the basho) and Profomisakari (6th place). In the allocation of places it goes between Ozeki East Torafuji (rank 2) and Maegashira 2 East Wamahada (rank 10) very closely. The performance value between those two differs by only 4.3 points, so that after the next basho everything can get mixed up new. Once more thanks to Doitsuyama, that all went good. I hope to see you all to Maegashira Game in Natsu Basho May 2016! Profomisakari Edited March 29, 2016 by Profomisakari
