I don't know if it's meant as a poem - it's a cascade of negative thinking, that turns into one of positive thinking when the same sentences are read again in reverse order.

The poster is very popular, many want one, but the committee for election administration won't give them to people for private purposes: only for election PR. They prepared 5500 posters, for those that still are in stock, they check the location where the display is planned and decide if it gets enough public attention: only then they send the proprietor of the place 1 poster.

Would love to know - if anyone out there knows these things - is it normal for a rikishi to publish a book under his shikona rather than his real name? I don't have any books penned by rikishi (I feel like Hakuho has done a few?), but am interested to learn if there's precedent for this on account of it being his public name while he's under Kyokai employ.

Similarly, would an elder publish a book under their real name or their elder name? Seems like that would be a bit tricky to publish under their elder name since kabu may be switched at some point while in the kyokai, and someone else will definitely take the name over within a matter of years.

Shame none of us outside Japan are allowed in at the moment, as it would be intriguing to see if copies of this (especially signed) would be sold at the book table at Kokugikan in January. Love the little Ozeki to Jonidan, Jonidan to Yokozuna chart in the bottom left.

It's bad enough that they change from a shikona to a kabu name.  A book with Araiso-oyakata on it might not catch many eyes yet, since he spent 15 years making the name Kisenosato famous.  Imagine if the book was "My Life in Sumo" by Hagiwara Yutaka?

I would say it is standard practice, I don't know any book without the sumo name somehow included in the author name. Hakuho of course has changed his real name to that as well, as have other foreign borns. Kitanofuji, Mainoumi, Ichinoya, Kyokudozan and others who left the kyokai use that name for books. Taka of course, he having that name as oyakata name as well. Same Taiho, for other books under oyakata names there is the robo book of Furiwake, Kokonoe,  Oguruma, Oshima for Kyokutenho, Nishiiwa with Wakanosato in brackets and so on. Kotooshu had a book as well while active.

Gyoji also use their sumo names instead of real names, but that is not standard. Yobidashi are new as authors, they use their full and thus real names like Hideo - usually their real first names are the yobidashi name.

Edit: just checked, Kitanoumi has a book as well, in my amazon.jp checklist I also have a book by Asashoryu, in my book shelf I have maybe ten of the books like I mentioned before, also Yaocho by Onaruto oyakata.

Futabayama has a famous book, I have to check if he published it before intai.
