In comparison, I thought it was more amusing that the guy mispronounced the word for salt, instead using the word for orange blossom, and the interviewer had to correct him on the proper usage of those words. I know a couple of absolutely adorable people (one South American) who will start laughing like that while telling stories that nobody else understand or find funny, if only because the maniacal laughter makes them totally impossible to follow ... d_golem 213 Posted October 4, 2016 Laughing is infectious, as I have tested this with myself, my brother, and a friend many years ago. We sat facing each other in my living room, totally absolutely silent, eyes occasionally darting from one person to another. Then involuntarily somehow, one of us started to snigger, which turned into a giggle, which turned into a chuckle, and in the end all three of us were doubled over, gasping for breath, eyes watering, after 10 solid minutes of non-stop laughing fit, feeding on each other's utter silliness.
