Asameshimae 220 Posted October 15, 2016 (edited) Sorry i misread the letter posted to Twitter. Subsequent posts by people here made me realize this. I should keep my reading glasses near my futon. Anyway, Kasugayama is still fighting to keep the heya and keep it in Kawasaki and sent a petition to the kyokai for their meeting in the 16th. I don't know how many have met Kasugayama (Tattchan to many), but he is a great guy and he and his heya truly deserve to continue on in Kawasaki. Gurowake 4,108 Posted October 15, 2016 Now, I know Japan is in the future, but it's only the 14th here. I don't think it's the 16th there yet.
Bumpkin 438 Posted October 15, 2016 When was the last time the kyokai changed their mind?
Asashosakari 19,667 Posted October 15, 2016 I could be wrong, but isn't this a petition to the Kyokai to change their decision?
inhashi 2,363 Posted October 15, 2016 It does look like a petition to withdraw the resignation. Addressed to Hakkau by a public interest group of the Kawasaki Daishi ward, it's stating the reason being Kasugayama beya's involvement in a variety of successful activities and social events including the attractions and trust the heya and shisho has established among the locals and organizations.
