( not like that's anything to brag about ) But it was really close and I am happy that I got a KK Well, a tie breaker again but this time I got the nod. Looks like it will come down to May to settle this epic battle! Hooray for our KKs!!!!!!!

Sakura 1,495 Posted February 27, 2017 11 hours ago, Kintamayama said: We have a first time winner in Sakura, in only his/her 3rd basho!!! Congrats!! Excellent!! I was not expecting that. I knew I did better than previously but that was much better. If only I knew what I did right, I'd be able to apply it next time. Thanks for running the game. PS It's `her' .
Benihana 1,937 Posted February 27, 2017 (edited) 46 after 48 in my first basho. I made 2 crucial mistakes which cost me a lot of points, because a lot of my guesses shifted just 1 step into the wrong direction. Why did i place Ichinojo at M3w and Tochinoshin at M14w? Absolute nonsense. That cost me dearly. Baka! @Sakura You won't get the basho so easy in TUG Edited February 27, 2017 by Benihana
Yubinhaad 11,761 Posted February 27, 2017 Four changes to the top ten ranks here. Oshirokita's 10-basho stint in green comes to an end, while Randomitsuki also drops out after five basho. Chishafuwaku and Gurowake are the others to fall. Replacing them are four returnees, most notably Frinkanohana who is back in the top ten for the first time since 2008 Haru. The gap of 51 basho puts him in second place on the list of most basho between top ten appearances. The other returnees are Ullishimaru after an 11-basho gap, Asashosakari after a single basho, and Pitinosato after a three-basho gap. Runner-up Susanoo had one more bullseye score than the winner but misses out on the yusho with one fewer correct guess in total, and also just misses out on a return to the green ranks, now in 11th place. I'm celebrating a new career high rank of 7th, one place higher than my previous best which came in my top ten debut, way back in 2009 Kyushu!

Doitsuyama 1,192 Posted March 5, 2017 A bit late, but the selection stats are in. No really outliers this time as all rikishi had selections for the correct rank. The biggest surprise seems to be Tokushoryu's promotion to Makuuchi at the cost of Chiyootori. He even left Nishikigi behind who is among those with bad banzuke luck (measured against the guessser's expectations) as are Myogiryu, Ura, Daieishi, Kotoyuki and Hokutofuji. Sadanoumi (will you never learn? ) and Endo are among those with good banzuke luck.
