Tamanaogijima 756 Posted May 1, 2017 Hello gamers, the UDH entry form is ready now and waiting for your selections. Rules in a (very small) nutshell: Guess the thirteen makuuchi rikishi you expect to have the fewest wins this basho. You may submit your entry at http://udh.seisa.de/udh_index.html. Once you have selected your team, please root for them as much as you can. The game was not intended to honor any failure, but to stimulate interest in the less successful rikishi. The deadline for your entries will be the first day of the basho (Sunday, May 14th) at 12pm Japanese Time. Good luck! Tamanaogijima 756 Posted May 17, 2017 Notable record(s) put up by the Kokonoe duo of Chiyonokuni and Chiyoshoma. - Both have got the same number of points (274). Not so unusual? Sure, but certainly for two rikishi who both have got more than 4 points on average. Both get 4.28 points per participant. - Chiyonokuni is the first one ever to appear in every line-up.

Ack! 465 Posted May 19, 2017 How are kinboshi scored? Are they scored for the yokozuka or against the rikishi who defeats him?

But since Hoshi has bonuses for kinboshi, I was expecting UDH had a similar rule, and with some of the yokozunae being so battered, I thought Kisenosato especially made a reasonable pick. WIthout kinboshi being considered, there's no reason to pick a yokozuna.

Tamanaogijima 756 Posted May 28, 2017 Day 13 Standings Day 14 Standings Final Standings It took you exactly two years to get a 400-point yusho again. Last instance was Natsu 2015. Third last instance (Nagoya 2014) bears a lot of similarity with today's (jun-)yusho winners -- two persons are the same, the third has the same rank.
