In honor of the new movie about the poet Kitahara Hakush ("Konomichi"), here is a tanka poem about this basho:

 

"Make your muscles big! Good for shoving and pulling; Make your body fat! Good for pushing and staying; Hope you never hurt your knee."

Nice use of rather long shikona.  It reminds me that some rikishi may never be immortalized in a Haiku, because they have more than five syllables.

There isn't much left to work with when your middle line is "Yo Wakatakakage!"
