Achiyama 1,245 Posted July 7, 2018 (edited) ANNOUNCEMENTS OZEKI WATCH: Two Gamers are on an Ozeki Watch: 1.) KATUNAZUMA after her consecutive Jun-Yusho and Yusho and having 25 Kekka points the last 2 basho needs just a KK. 2.) TENSHINHAN, who had a Jun-Yusho during the last 4 basho and 22 Kekka points, before the KOSHO last basho needs a KK as well (8 Kekka pts). KADOBAN: Pandaazuma is kadoban during 2018 Nagoya Basho. He will need 8 wins to keep his OZEKI rank. Jakusotsu was demoted to Sekiwake because of his 2nd consecutive basho. If he achieves 10 wins during 2018 Nagoya, he will reclaim his Ozeki rank. YOKOZUNA WATCH: There are no Gamers on an Yokozuna watch at this point. As Haidouzo had only 16 Kekka points from the last 2 basho, even Zensho Yusho wouldn't bring the necessary kekka points to make 33 kekka points. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY!!! Gurowake 4,053 Posted July 7, 2018 (edited) Shouldn't some others fighting the rank next to them other than Takekaze be 9? M9-M12 defeats M5-M8 3 points. M5-M8 defeats M1-M4 3 points. Not that anyone is going to pick them, but I think you may have something amiss on the spreadsheet that might affect other things as well. It's probably due to the sanyaku size change. Keep in mind what I sent you before about what you need to do when there is a change in composition of sanyaku. It would explain why the Juryo one is correct - Juryo always starts at rikishi 43, while where the other ranks break depends on sanyaku. It would explain why the Juryo one is correct - Juryo always starts at rikishi 43, while where the other ranks break depends on sanyaku. Gurowake, I trust the spreadsheet you developed for TUG, which I appreciate a lot as it saves me a lot of time. I don't have time to go check manually all the spots. For the Juryo rikishi I found out that it doesn't add the 3 points for a jump from Juryo to Maegashira so I do it manually for such cases. You are right about these jumps from group to group, but I didn't check whether there is a problem there. There is also a problem which I found during 2018 Haru I believe, and 1 of the bouts is wrong, or 1 rikishi was showing in 2 different bouts (this usually involves a Sanyaku rikishi). So, after I get the Torikumi, I fix this problem manually. The reason I haven't told you is that I feel uncomfortable to ask you for help, knowing that you are busy other games. Also, not many people pick bouts with small amount of points, where is the problem with this 3 points difference. I am not a computer geek, so I am not able to fix computer programming problems. Achiyama 1,245 Posted July 8, 2018 (edited) ANNOUNCEMENT: Per Gurowake's alert (thanks Steven for your eagle eyes), the following bouts should give you 9 points instead of 6: Daishomaru (vs. Kagayaki) Myogiryu (vs. Kyokutaisei) Tochiozan (vs. Arawashi) 1.) The Shonichi TUG Torikumi, posted above, was fixed accordingly. 2.) The TUG Entry Form for Shonichi was also fixed accorsingly. You don't have to do anything, if you have picked those 3 bouts, you'll get the corresponding points. If you want to change any other pick to one of the 3, please resubmit your Entry form. I am sorry for any inconveniences! Achiyama, TUG Rijicho Edited July 8, 2018 by Achiyama
Gurowake 4,053 Posted July 8, 2018 If you have a problem with anything regarding the spreadsheet - if something isn't being picked up right or whatever - send me the latest version you are using and I'll look into it. I have plenty of time over the summer. Now, if there was a problem during Haru, then I might not exactly have time. But outside of that basho every year, I have enough time to spare and would want to make sure that it's being done correctly.

I usually copy the spreadsheet from a previous basho and then update according to the instructions you sent me in the past. I can send you the spreadsheet I started using this basho to check for some broken links or something. When you check it and fix it send it to me and I'll continue using it for the rest of the basho. Meanwhile, I'll continue using the one I started and will be careful and fix any glitches manually. Once again thank you very much for your invaluable help. I understand Joao, The Deadline is always Japanese time which is a day ahead of us. Not a biggy. You already know that 1 miss is usually not a problem in TUG. Even more than once. Good Luck!

Thanks! It's in the Entry Form only the back-up picks section. It's a left over from a previous form, which I used as a Template. Fixed it.
