It really should have come to me earlier, but this picture is poignant for a reason: the two items on the keshō-mawashi are significant to why the three brothers bear the shikona they do. The parable of the three arrows is well known, as is their naming after the Sengoku daimyō Mōri Motonari's sons, but the helmet is less obvious - that is an image of Mōri Motonari's helmet.
