As the maker of this poll, you are able to do that.

No, i'm not. My only moderation action in the according drop-down is to delete the poll. That's how it works since many years.

For your next poll: You can set the date the poll closes automatically when you create the poll. If there is a possibility to adjust your poll options, there might be the possibility to adjust that closing date later as well - I don't know how long the poll settings can be edited though, I only made 1 poll so far.

Do you have this option when viewing your original post?

I know, i use that option for my basho polls, but for this poll it was unclear how long it should run. I decided to let it be closed now, because Terunofuji is back to juryo. Yes, it is possible to edit in the auto-close option, which i did now. Someone should change the poll-advice-thread, because the auto-close-option was not available, when that post was written.

No, only mods have that option. Until the auto-close-option was added, it was normal to ask mods for closing polls. But now we have a workaround, see above.

My guesses on these are almost 100% completely wrong. I should have said he'd never leave jonidan. It would have guaranteed him a rope.

I am glad to be wrong, although still surprised at his loss to Shodai.  Of the leaders, he is under less pressure than Asanoyama, in that he was probably not expected to do so well, while Asanoyama is trying to get a Yokozuna run going.

Today will be very interesting.

@Kishinoyama, eliminated.

I am happy to be eliminated because I have been rooting for Terunofuji from the beginning. (Onthebanzuke...)

OOPS, I accidentally clicked Yokozuna. It is very sad to think that he fell so far in such little time, but man the guy is beat up, very badly. There is practically very little hope, in my opinion, of him getting back to sanyaku. His body has already suffered too much, its been tormented horribly, it just is not going to hold up for much longer. Had he been YOUNGER, maybe things would be different.

Maybe this wasn't that bad of a take after all.... This Nagoya Basho has so much at stake for Mongolian Rikishi.

This is hilarious to look at now. 14% of voters thought he'd never even become a sekitori!
