robnplunder 976 Posted September 21, 2019 Horrible call. Now, I want Takakeisho or Mitakeumi to take the yusho to make it fair.

robnplunder 976 Posted September 21, 2019 (edited) Endo should have stayed in the ring after the match like Hak did. Edited September 21, 2019 by robnplunder

Rainoyama 1,157 Posted September 21, 2019 Come on Mita, I understand you needed that win but really ? The race is more interesting this way though what a crazy basho.

robnplunder 976 Posted September 21, 2019 Blatant henkas, and potentially yusho deciding bad call ... it's not a good day for ozumo. It makes me appreciate Enho all the more.
Kaninoyama 1,818 Posted September 21, 2019 Darn, didn't want Tochinoshin to lose his Ozeki rank that way. Hopefully he can reclaim it next basho.
Benihana 1,937 Posted September 21, 2019 And what a showstopper for Tochi.
Catalin B 13 Posted September 21, 2019 Wow, what a weird day in makuuchi! So was Endo's heel definitely not out? Abema TV kept replaying the throw instead of the moment that triggered the call. And would it have been a torinaoshi if they had done a mono-ii and deemed the initial call wrong, since the gyoji was already ignoring the moments after? Benihana 1,937 Posted September 21, 2019 Let's wait if one of the press photographers or a fan caught the questionable moment on chip.
Otokonoyama 2,735 Posted September 21, 2019 (edited) I don't see it. Appeared to stay on his toes. Eerily similar to the Tochinoshin incident. Edited September 21, 2019 by Otokonoyama

Tigerboy1966 1,474 Posted September 21, 2019 There seemed quite a time gap between Endo's nearest point of heel contact and the judge raising his hand. Looks like a bad call to me.
Rainoyama 1,157 Posted September 21, 2019 The Shenshuraku torikumi is out Takakeisho gets Okinoumi, Mitakeumi gets Endo http://sumo.or.jp/EnHonbashoMain/torikumi/1/15/ 1
Akumazeki 28 Posted September 21, 2019 What the interesting torikumi. Definitely excludes three way play off. For two way chances are quite big.
Kotononami 86 Posted September 21, 2019 (edited) So no yusho chances anymore for Asanoyama & Tsurugisho. My choice would have been: Mitakeumi-Endo Takakeisho-Abi Okinoumi-Asanoyama Edited September 21, 2019 by Kotononami
