Jacques Chirac RIP

This is a very sad news indeed. He was a true fan of sumo, personnaly attended hon-bashos and was a personnal acquintance of several rikishi. He also invited the rikishi for a jungyo in Paris in the late 90's.

I used to live in France and various Frenchmen I spoke to told me that Jacques Chirac was very popular amongst the French people, across all political preferences (which is rare enough to be highlighted)
