Guest Kaikitsune Posted December 26, 2001 Abundance, solitude, solidness, tenaciousness can all be associated with a TREE. Great supply of trees on our globe. The life span of a tree would be a topic for a whole book. Old trees radiate certain wisdom; kind of like many old human beings. Approaching a huge, centuries old tree is often done tentatively and on occasion whispering is the only means of articulation which feels proper. Tree lives it`s life at a fixed spot exploring new soil only through it`s enduring roots as they spread for wide area in search of water. It is expanding it`s kingdom, feeling content and knowing it`s place in this world. If tree would be a human being, it would most likely be very magnanimous and indifferent towards trifles. Tree is fallen over and trimmed with those scary looking machines in a forest, then packed on a log truck which then transports the logs to sawmill where those are put through a process and many kinds of wood-products come out. Egyptians didn`t use tree that much as building material but Asians did. Nowadays tree is still widely used in various constructions. It is significant when a human being plants a tree. Hoshifransu 0 Posted December 30, 2001 Beautiful words, Kaikitsune-San, really. A joke about trees by a friend o'mine : "kill a beaver and you'll save a tree" (it's only a joke of course - I like trees but I like beavers too :-) )
