Miyagino for the first time since the funeral in 2018 visited the grave of his father - in Mongolia it's a custom to visit the grave not before 5 years after a man, 3 years after a woman died.

Saw on X (formerly Twitter) Miyagino did a GWR attempt for making most tegata in 1 minute (couldnt find the post). He made 121 tegatas in 1 minute.

I think it was on a 24-hour telethon program. I saw another performances by other wrestlers.

Miyagino today had a lecture at the Japanese society for Occupational mental health and mentioned that Hakuoho, who was kyujo at the jungyo for left shoulder joint subluxation, is thinking about having surgery in the future - if it's getting worse: he has not recovered yet. But it would mean a longer kyujo.

I can't see how Hakuoho's shoulder will get better by itself considering the high impact nature of sumo. Even if he skips jungyo, there's still regular keiko and basho. Sometimes miracles happen I guess but hoping for a miracle is not the best strategy...

I can see the logic being "if I'm doing this well with a bum shoulder, let's see if it'll take me to ōzeki before I need surgery". 

Even getting near M1 next basho will buy him two basho off to recover and still keep his rank.

Unfortunately these videos often get switched to private after a while, I download them on the day and only watch that video, I avoid watching on YT directly whenever possible - and only notice that it can't be accessed any-more when I post if the video is gone. Not being embeddable happens all the time and is no clear sign. Looks like I have to post these things quicker.

Rereading my post, it looks like I was throwing shade when I didn't mean to. Have a like in case I ruffled feathers.

That's too bad, BEGIN is one of my favorites and Hakuho isn't an incompetent singer. I was in Okinawa when that album came out, it was everywhere. They gave me a lot of translation practice before the internet made it easy.
