[Did this get posted? Can't find it.]

Electric Shamisen available for ~$500 - $1000 on internet.

All-female band with (I think) electric shamisen.  I like it because it's a cover of "What is Hip" by one of my favorite groups, Tower of Power.

Which are your favourite Rammstein songs?

Having just watched the Madison Square Garden gig from 2010 on TV, they have several songs close to perfection (e.g. "Engel" and "Keine Lust"), but the one track larger than life will always be

Heavy metal from Mongolia. Originally posted in Bench Sumo fantasy game but the player didn't do it here, so I'm just the messenger.  :-)

As seen several places on the Forum, including page 2 of this thread. They are getting well-known;  better hurry and tell your friends about them before they become too mainstream (i.e., do some demo work with Beyoncé).

Oops, so many posts in this thread, I forgot they were already mentioned. My only consolation is that this version is a different one from the page 2. ;-)

Beyoncé won't qualify now with Kotoyuki being available.

Lets have a change of pace.

What the worst song you have everv heard ?

My vote is a song that was posted on the this thread as a favorite.(each to his  own )

The song  was chop suey by System  of the down.

A special  mention  goes to 'take my breath away’ from the film Top gun.

I hated it so mucn I used to walk out of shops if  they had it on  the tanoy...

Take your breath away? My pleasure, anything to stop you singing.

WHAAAAT?! "Chop Suey" is just great ! :-P
More seriously, the "worst" depends on each one's taste. So as I don't wish to hurt anybody's feelings I won't mention any. ;-)

Nice thread.

Hello, I'm a first time caller.

I haven't been into German language music for a long time until recently. Because I started to share a Tidal account with some friends who were "off" music for years because of having kids, I suddenly became exposed to their manic suggestions and crazy finds.

So two bands I totally love having found through this are Brett (check out the album Wutkitsch) and especially Erregung Öffentlicher Erregung.

On the Finnish side of things I'm happy to have heard Mopo (Mopocalypse, with the track Tökö being a miracle).

This stuff is somewhere on YT, I guess, but I'm currently stuck with pre-historic internet, so that is that.

Yes you are right of cause but have you  ever known me to care about hurting peoples feelings ;-)

I do wonder why people dont love the same songs as me occasionly.

How can anyone not love five finger death punch ’wash it all away?‘

Now for something not entirely different:

Well, yeah, when you've seen one Bavarian band named after a Cure song that references J.D. Salinger, and performs intricate movie-like videos, you've seen them all.

If you want to play music, but have no songs of your own, play others'. You might ask the original performers to visit you, too.

That three teenage girls play hard rock together isn't that unusual, I would assume. Their being Mexicans might strike me as unusual, but I admit I have no idea why I should feel that way. Maybe it's a local fad. Their being sisters is thoroughly odd.

Oh yes, there's a honbasho. :-|

I don't know why I like this song, except it's catchy and always lifts my spirits.  It's Japanese, so it's abroad to me.

(Listen with headphones, or you'll miss the bass line.)
