Lovett, "Heartattack": I had to look this up (not Lyle Lovett, of course).  Nice!

How about sme blues next? Sometimes I hesitate whether what I wish to post belongs to this thread or to the "favorite songs" one. This is not one of my favorites but I still like it.

Larkin Poe: haven't heard from them in awhile (well, haven't heard from a lot of artists since pre-YouKnowWhat).  They toured with Elvis Costello about five years ago, IIRC.

There you go.

Something about this video has been puzzling me...

When the band is seen walking with their picks over their shoulders the group is easily identified(Singer, keyboard etc)  except 3rd and 5th....

I think 3rd is the drummer and 5th is the guitarist but neither really look  like them.

Can anyone comfirm it for me?

I'm nearly sure I'm right now.

One thing that bothered me was the drummers hair seemed lighter but I have seen pictures where his hair is much darker...

These whippersnappers are just audacious with their musical pilfering.

What an Ironman!(Laughing...)

This time the 2nd video is unavailable.

The first video had a good melody.  One of the advantages of watching a video in a language you don't know is that you can make up your own mind what the video's about!

I normally try to make the words up in English as I go...(I swear the babymetal singer informs us--I'm not Micky mouse, your not Micky mouse in 'catch me if you can' )

Or failling that just sing something that rymes with what is being sang at least you are in tune then.

Do you think Windrose are dr who fans?

In the second verse it sounds like "Meet us on the battlefield, you will meet Judoon."

This hit big in 1991, and keeps popping up on the French charts every ten years or so.

Not bad!  And very Sting-like to step out from behind the bass to showcase the vocal talents.

Now, a real challenge would be to cover your intro song: Papa Was a Rolling Stone.

Great song, but much easier to sing, don't you think?

That’s the song by Mick Jagger’s son, right?

I bet he can sound like Rick Derringer more than he can sound like Dennis Edwards or especially Melvin Franklin.

Don’t know who those guys are. I just want to sound like Murray Johnson.

But now it has met its equal.

I can't for the life of me figure out how she maintains that manic energy through the whole video.

Dod you see them at Ruisrock last year?
