I think if many people took the time to enter picks in and also that a majority of people scored, you should allow their scoring to stand. If the other people that didn't submit after the changes still ended up scoring somehow because they still picked winning rikishi, you should factor their choices in to still allow them to score. Considering how late kyujo can affect new changes to torikumi, as you said there should consideration to some kind of rule change in the future, but that is for you as the rijicho to make these decisions.

As we all say, this is a game and we all want to have fun while playing it, so how you decide we will support you!

Standings after Day 7.

We have a new Leader! Kyoju did not score on Day 7 and lost the Leadership. Oshirokita regained the yellow jersey.

1st place - Oshirokita grabbed back the Leadership with 65 pts.

2nd place - Kishikaisei climbed a step and is on 2nd place with 61 pts.

3rd place -  Wolfgangho, with his bold pick, made a gigantic jump from 11th to 3rd place with 58 pts.

4th place - Gaijingai climbed 2 steps from 6th to 4th place and is with 56 pts.

5th place - Pitinosato leaped from 10th to 5th place. He is with 55 pts.

6th place - Kyoju dropped from 1st and Sakura jumped from 11th and both share 6th place and round up Top-6 with 51 pts.

Joaoiyama is at the doorsteps of Top-6 with 42 pts.

In regard to the entry problem you can count the back up pick in day 10 for those who missed the deadline, but again they might get lucky with some choices which could be unfair to others which is why I do not think it’s a probable choice . Like everybody said it is a rare occurrence and I do not think a change is needed. 8am for you is 10pm for me so it is not inconvenient for me just mentioning.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Dear TUG Supporters and Fans,

1.) Regarding the Annulment of Nakabi (Day 8) results. I read carefully all responses. Thanks to everybody who responded to my appeal for help. I knew that the opinions will be different, but I appreciate that most of you declared that you'll accept my decision. My decision is not to annul the Nakabi results as it would have been unfair to too many Gamers.

I want to point out that my decision was NOT influenced by the "ultimatum " from Wolfgangho. As we all say: it is just a game. It's suppose to play a game if you (1) like it and (2) you have fun playing it. Many Gamers have left the TUG community for one reason or another. I never was angry with the Gamers who left, but I have 16 Gamers who play TUG since the inauguration during 2015 Hatsu Basho. I am very grateful to them for their continuous support! This is what makes me passionate and continue offering the game.

2.) I will continue posting the TUG Torikumi and Entry Form as I usually do - while the daily bouts are still on.

3.) In case of the Sumo Reference database is  down, I will post the Torikumi and Entry Form as early as possible on the following morning.

4.) In case of some unusual change of an already posted official Torikumi, I'd appreciate somebody of the uncomfortable time zones (Gamers from Europe) to send me an e-mail (better than posting on Sumoforum) about the change, so I'd be able to update the TUG Torikumi and Entry Form as soon as possible.

5.) By the end of today I will update the Standings after Day 8 and Day 9. Suspense is starting!

i didnt do any ultimatum

for me its important that everyone ist treated the same way

your post sounded to me like these 3 friends of me couldn`t enter so i will annule the day

and i would have done my intai not lookint at the table in which i am nearing the top

and i didnt had a look if i had a poitive or negative result on day 8

by the way i wasnt able to enter toto for 2 days  does anyone care?`no do i care that  i couldnt enter no thats part of the game

some years ago my pc went down in the middle of a baho and i had to drive 20 km each day to the nex internetcafe so i could have droped out of the runing tourney and nobody wolud have cried a tear for me

and still its a game someitmex you have np lick so,eto,es ypi have bad luck
